Disney Pin Haul- Ebay, Instagram, Facebook

Hey Guys so today is going to be a Disney Pin post on some of this pins I've recently bought from various sources. I've been collecting Disney pins now for over 10 years and really bought some great pins this time around! If you have any pin related questions then leave me a comment below.

This first pin was bought on Ebay and shows Minnie Mouse dressed as Mary Poppins on her carousel horse. Mary Poppins is my favourite Disney film so I just had to have it. I'm now on the hunt for the matching Mickey as Bert pin.

These two pins above were also purchased on Ebay and are an open edition of two pins released at WDW. Again super cute for anyone who is a fan of Mary Poppins.

This next pin is a tribute to my childhood and is my first Disney Soda Fountain Marquee pin. High School Musical and its films were a huge part of my childhood and I just knew I needed this pin for my collection. I managed to put in a best offer for this pin so got it a bit cheaper than it was initially priced at.

The next 5 pins my dad managed to get for me at DTD whilst he was in Florida and this was one of the ones I asked him to get. It's a set of two pins and is part of the Best Friends Series and features Pooh and Tigger.

This pin is part of the GenEARation D series and features Elliot the dragon from "Petes Dragon". I would really like to get the Ariel pin from this series.
This pin features Chip and Dale dress as nurses to celebrate Nurses Day.

This pin was the one I was most excited for and was the one I specifically asked my dad to get. It's part of the shield series and is the second to be released. It has Eric's crest and show Ariel and Eric in a boat during the kiss the girl scene.

This final pin that my dad got me is a Mother's Day pin as the USA were celebrating it around the time it was released. Its really pretty in person due to the glitter background.

This next pin I bought off of someone on Instagram and adds to my Disney Soda Fountain collection. I have a huge love for the fifties and was so excited to see this pin. It shows Jessica Rabbit dressed in a typcial 50's poodle skirt and stood in front of a jukebox. As you can see the back of DSF pins have little ice creams on them.

This pin I again bought off of someone on Instagram and was released also at the DSF store. It was one of four designs released but of course I had to get the Little Mermaid one. It features one of my favourite scenes at the end of the film.

This fortune cookie pin is the last one I purchased off of Instagram and is one of the chasers from the set. It features Mary Poppins and reads " Practically perfect in every way".

The next pin is my first jumbo pin and it's so pretty! I bought not only this pin but the next few Aristocats pins from a guy over on Facebook. This pin has it's own stand which I really like as it means I can display it not on a cork board. This pin is very similar to a standard size pin released on the Disney UK store however this one as more of a photo look rather than created with enamel.

Heres a size comparison of the Jumbo compared to a hidden mickey pin.

I previously owned the 3 kittens pin however when I saw he was selling the whole hidden Mickey set I knew I had to buy them!

This pin was a surprise Zap that he threw in! ( A Zap is a surprise gift or pin).

Below is my coordinating YouTube Video where you can see the pins more in depth.

I hope you enjoyed this pin post and I'll talk to you soon! Sophie x

Disney Pin Tag | ImSarahSnitch

This post is in response to a video I saw ImSarahSnitch record on her YouTube channel. It is a 7 question disney pin tag which I really wanted to share.

1. Which is your oldest pin?
Of course I couldn't pick just one pin. These pins were released in 2003 and that is when I believe I started collecting. Therefore these may not be my oldest pins but they are the first ones I physically remember having as a child.
The first Belle pin unfortunately broke and I lost the top part which was a mirror compact. The two other princess pins featured on a 4 piece lanyard set and I traded the other two identical pins. The final pin features stitch reading to some ducklings and I find this pin to be adorable despite me not being a big fan of Lilo & Stitch.

2.Which is your newest pin?
My most recent pin I purchased on Ebay after seeing a couple other sellers offer it at ridiculous prices. So when I saw this Mary Poppins pin up at a good price I snatched it up right away. It celebrates the movies 50th anniversary and features Mary Poppins, Bert and the Penguins.

3. A pin that features your favourite character.
These two pins obviously relate to Mary Poppins. The carousel pin on the left I found at a Flea Market in Florida and I really want the Bert pin to match.
The pin on the right I bought when we saw Mary Poppins on Broadway and I loved the show.

4. A pin with a year or date on it.

5. A pin that has a funny story behind it.

I don't know if this story is necessarily funny but here goes. My dad wanted me to go on the Tower of Terror ride at MGM/Hollywood Studios with him so he actually bribed me with the incentive that I could buy a pin after the ride. So I braved the ride, hated it and got this pin to commemorate the experience.

6. A pin with the most sentimental value.

These two pins are sentimental for different reasons. The left one I got on a school trip to France in which we visited Disneyland Paris and of course I had to get a pin to remind me of the trip. The right pin coincidentally is also from DLP but it was my first traded pin at Downtown Disney in Orlando.

7. A pin that took you the longest to find.

I wouldn't say it took the longest to find but I had been on the hunt for a Carousel Of Progress pin and this just happened to pop up on Ebay. With the help of my dad we bid on it and won( the only pin I've ever won on Ebay). The owner lived not far from my grandparents and therefore we agreed to pick it up ourselves. The lady was selling her sons collection and I got this pin for super good price and I ended up buying more pins at the sellers house.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my pins I've not only created this post but recorded a video over on my YouTube channel which you can see below.

Until next time, Sophie x

Disney Pin Haul

One of the things I like to collect and trade is Disney Pins. I've been collecting for around 10 years now and have only recently started to purchase them on Ebay. The pins I'm about to show I have purchased over the past 4 months either on Ebay or from Disney World itself. These pins are not for sale or trade.

This Aristocats pin was part of a DisneyLand 2010 hidden Mickey series which featured 5 pins each showcasing characters from the film. This pin shows Marie, Berlioz, Toulouse. I love the Aristocats film and the kittens in particular. I bought this pin on Ebay from the seller debbie7073 and it was delivered earlier than expected.

This pin was originally sold on the Disney UK website and it LE of 800. I usually don't buy Winnie the Pooh pins but I thought this was so adorable with the saying. I also bought this pin on Ebay from seller kidneyboy11.

I bought this pin after recently watching The Little Mermaid (for the first time either ever or for over 10 years). It features Ariel and Eric in a flower frame which is so pretty! I like how they are dressed in what they wore when they first met. I bought this pin from juliaellietate* on Ebay.

This pin is probably my favourite out of the ones I've purchased recently as this Springtime Minnie reminds me of Mary Poppins. This cast member pin is an LE of 3014 and originates from DLP. This pin along with the next three pins were all bought on Ebay from the seller mainstreet.trading who I have felt really happy purchasing from.

This Meeko pin again originates from DisneyLand Paris and was released on a pin trading day in 2013 as an LE of 500. I bought this pin and the next pin after watching Pocahontas for the first time and falling in love with Meeko's character.

This LE of 600 pin was released on the same day as the one above and features both Pocahontas and Meeko with a dangle feature.

This 2014 pin is LE 600 and I really liked the retro feel. Lady and the Tramp is not one of my favourite films but I do love the characters.

These two pins I asked my dad to get for me whilst he was in Florida and they were 2 of the Christmas 2014 pins. I was really attracted to the vintage feel and how the ribbon allows you to turn it into an ornament.

When I saw this Russian doll collection online I was super excited and its one of very few collections that I've actually wanted to collect all of the pins. I bought 5 mystery bags each containing 5 pins and I got them all except for Cinderella! How annoying, needless to say I have quite a few doubles to trade with.

This pin is my most recent purchase off of Ebay from theotortoise and features Ariel on the Art Of Animation Christmas pin. I was really pleased to find this pin as I love the purple/blue snowflake that it features my favourite princess.

So that's my pin haul from the past couple of months. Over the next couple of months I hope to sell some of my pins on ebay and maybe even get into Instagram pin trading!

I filmed a video over on my YouTube channel talking about these pins, which you can see below.

Until next time, Sophie x
